What is your bedtime book?

I read many books before bed, but I would have to say my favorite is Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. 

When did you read it?

I read it for the first time about a year ago, and am due for a reread!

Why is this book so important to you?

This book is my favorite book of all time. It has everything I love in a book: history, characters that seem real, romance, life lessons. When I finished reading it the first time, I couldn’t stop thinking about it or talking about it!

How many times have you read the book ?

One time fully, but I have gone back and reread parts. I am planning to read it again fully soon.

Did you lend it to anyone?

Everyone I want to lend it to says it is too long for them! But I’m still trying to convince them.

How would you qualify it?

It is not strictly romance like many people think. I think it is more of a historical fiction/drama. 

What questions would you like to ask its author?

The characters seemed so real, are they based off anyone? And I would love to know what the characters would be doing ten years after the book ended.

How far into reading the book did you know it was a classic? How many copies have you sold?

I have a local used bookstore I love called Bent Corners*.
